Our Psychologist
Heather is a registered Psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and parents across a wide range of mental health, developmental, and emotional concerns.
She has a strong background in both educational and private practice settings and offers therapy that is flexible, individualised, and grounded in evidence-based approaches. Heather works with a broad range of presentations, including anxiety, emotion regulation difficulties, life transitions, trauma, learning differences, and behavioural concerns. She also provides assessment and support for neurodivergent clients, including ADHD and autism, using a neuroaffirming and strengths-based approach.
Heather offers both in-person and telehealth sessions, supporting clients across different stages of life and from diverse locations. Telehealth is particularly helpful for those seeking greater flexibility or continuity of care during school holidays, busy work periods, or from regional areas.
Her therapeutic work is guided by modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), creative and play-based interventions, and parent support. She values collaboration, and works closely with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure care is holistic and well-integrated.
Heather is known for her warm, practical, and client-centred style. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where individuals and families feel supported to explore challenges and build confidence in their own strengths.
